a lot of different meanings of "worst" are possible. still... what do you believe are the worst mechanics that MTG has made? -complicated or confusing abilities like: Banding? Phasing? Cumulative Upkeep? Morph? Denimwalk?
-OP abilities like: Buyback? (fetch effect of) rebels? Dredge?
-Just Bad abilities like: The Mana ability of Alabaster Leech?
My vote is for the OP (and broken) ability called Storm.

My cohort voiced an interesting idea: Land-- as the worst mechanic in the game. Certainly the newer games (VS, Duelmasters, and WoW) were able to create systems that used resources, but in which it was tough to be land-screwed. I still vote for Storm.
